On the ALP’s we went searching for the hungry caterpillar and friends. We looked in the trees and plants, under logs and stones, to find where the bugs lived. We saw ants, ladybirds, worms, spiders and lots of other creepy crawlers. The children especially liked holding the worms as they tickled their hand as they wriggled.

During outdoor play we have been using our gross motor muscles to climb, stretch, jump, hop, swing and run. We talked about why exercise is good for our bodies and what changes happen when we do, like, feeling hot, sweaty, heart beats fast.

Encouraging independence at snack time, pouring our own drinks and peeling the fruit! And these superstars are doing a great job when practicing writing the letters of their name. smiley
