WOW!!! What a week we've had! The children have settled into year 2 seamlessly! It has been a wonderful couple of weeks getting to know the children and hearing all about their summer holidays!
In Maths the children have been learning about place value and what each digit in a number stands for. They've been answering questions about how many tens and how many ones are in numbers to 100.
In English we have continued our work on Zog. The children have been thinking of adjectives to describe Zog to use in their independent writing.
In Science we have started our Animals Including Humans topic. I was so impressed with how much the children could remember from Year 1! We looked at grouping animals and the children could remember all the different groups and some of the criteria for each group!
