14th October

We can't believe that we have had a complete half term together already!

It has been so much fun getting to know each other, learning around the classroom and becoming such a wonderful group!

This week we finished our half term learning the Nursery Rhyme 'I'm a Little Teapot'.

We had fun making hot chocolate in a real teapot and singing the Nursery Rhyme as we poured it.

It tasted delicious!

We followed instructions, looking at the text and the pictures and identified how much we needed by looking at the numbers in the text.

The children wished we could do this everyday!

We also decorated teapots in the creative area using a variety of resources.

Your child will bring home an 'Autumn Treasures' bag to take on a half term walk.

We would love it if you could collect leaves, conkers, twigs, sycamore seeds, acorns etc and bring them back to school ready for our learning after the half term break.

We hope you have a wonderful time with your families and we will see you back in school from Monday 28th October.
