We have had a lovely week of learning here in year 1. We had a fabulous PE lesson where we have been practicing our dance movements. We have shared ideas and thoughts on how to find comfort when our bodies or feelings get hurt. We have also been using BeeBots in computing.
English
In English we have been started our text of ‘The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse’. We have created our own story map of our model text.
Maths
In Maths this week we have been working on our place value to 20.
Topic
This week we have had a food tasting for our DT topic. We have explored the sandwiches we have available in shops already. We tasted the different fillings that are popular (thinking carefully about our food needs) and decided on our favourites ready for our designing of a sandwich.
