World Book Day Thursday 5th March
This week
This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year, its the year off the horse. The children have been enjoying activities to learn about it and we have enjoyed having Chinese food as our snack, the children really enjoyed eating it.
On Tuesday we went to the Wacky Warehouse this gave the children lots of physical challenges, they worked hard to climb up the steps in to the higher sections. It also helped to build on their confidence. There was a lot of interest in the curly red slide, the children used their can do attitudes and bravely went down it before rushing back off to have another go. We were very proud of them all being so brave and using the slides.
Our activities

Wednesday
In our communication group children have been looking at their colours and colour matching. Using the magnetic stick to choose a coloured worm they would take it out and work hard to tell me the colour before placing it back matching the colours up.
Thursday
Some children enjoyed playing hide and seek whilst their other friends were asleep. They worked hard on their counting skills and worked well helping each other to hide.
