🌻This week🌻
We have had a really busy this week in the Sunflower room. Some children have been to the library where we enjoyed a lovely walk to the library listening to the birds and looking for aeroplanes. The children were very good in the library and we read lots of new stories. We have also been to the park, using our bodies to climb on all the equipment and have lots of fun.
As part of our Wellbeing learning we have been learning about the feeling angry using the colour red. The children have enjoyed pulling angry faces and stamping and singing to our red song.
We have spent time in the hall this week balancing on the benches and being brave jumping off the end on to the soft mat.
The children really enjoyed having a teddy bears tea party with Vanessa. They all shared their food with each other, fed their teddies and had imaginary hot chocolate to drink. We then made them some real hot chocolate (cooled) to have with their snack. They were all so excited to actually drink it, all of their cups were empty when they finished.
