29th November

This week we have continued our learning on ‘You Choose’.

The children have been thinking about who they would like to be their family and friends just as it asks in the story.

Some of the children decided they would like to choose a character from the text and others chose a friend from pre-school.

Here we are in action having photographs taken using the inflatable photo frames.  What wonderful friends we have got in pre-school.

We enjoy listening to stories read by adults, but our love of stories truly comes to light when we share them with one another.

Did you know you can read anywhere because we did. Look at us sharing our stories.

In small world we have explored zoo animals, birds and used our big voices to play alongside friends. It got a little bit messy, but it was so much fun.

The classroom was taken over by pirates looking for their treasure. The children looked carefully at the treasure maps to see if they could find X marks the spot. Here they are in the classroom environment off on their own adventure.

The learning garden has been under construction with work men and women working hard to fix broken toys and repair window and doors.  Oh, and I must say…we would definitely have them back!

Here we are exploring our new resources in the investigation station. It had been a very popular area this week.

Look at what we can do in our outdoor area.

In the creative area we have been cutting and printing using vegetables.

We like to mark make in many areas in the classroom.
