Welcome to the last blog of the Spring term. What absolutely fantastic entries to the Easter egg competition we have had! Have a look.....
Maths
In maths this week we have been learning about length and height. We have compared heights and used the correct language of short, shorter, shortest, tall, taller, tallest, long, longer, longest etc. We have used rulers to measure in centimetres.
English
This week we have been reading poetry and have written our own poem based on the colour yellow. We thought of adjectives to describe different objects that are yellow eg. the small, fluffy chick.
Science
We have completed our topic about materials and properties and produced a vocabulary lift the flap sheet. We reminded ourselves about the properties of many materials eg. hard, soft, fragile, bendy, stiff etc.
Topic
We have completed our topic on 'Space' by remembering why Neil Armstrong, Helen Sharman and Tim Peake are significant people in the history of space travel.
