Week ending 16th October
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week we have been reading 'The Three Little Pigs'. Lots of us already knew this story which has been lovely to hear the children practising their retelling skills.
One of our words this week was 'hungry'. We talked about the meaning of the word which led us to a class discussion about our favourite food. We drew our food and talked about why we liked it with the adults extending our vocabulary. It was great fun and made us hungry for our lunch!!!
We have started to use our 'Say a Poem' to learn and rehearse different poems. This helps us to use and improve our oracy skills. The children love it and are starting to become confident when saying the poem.
As always we have enjoyed lots of time outside.
