Each week we will be posting photographs and other things that we are super proud of. This week has been all about settling in and learning the routines and the names of our new friends. Let's explore some of the activities we have explored this week.

Our Creative area has been a hive of activity. We have explored working alongside others, sharing and developing our patience waiting for resources. We have also been exploring patterns and how to use watercolours effectively 

The children already have a love of reading, and it has been lovely to see the children choosing books independently and reading them alongside their friends. Here we are busy in our cosy reading area

The children have really embraced the routines in the classroom. They have shown that they are good listeners and I am sure that we will have the most amazing year together in class. Here are our first day in school photographs. Don't we look smart?

Finally, just a few reminders to help the settling-in process. We ask that reading book bags come to school every day and Friday is the day that we will change the children's books. Our PE day is a Wednesday and children can come to school already dressed in their PE kits/tracksuits.
