Welcome back to the class blog.

This week in Year 1 we have been enjoying art lessons in the afternoons. We have been using different drawing tools to create types of lines like zig zags, wavy lines, curved lines and dashed lines. We have been learning about the artist Paul Klee. We created a self portrait inspired my his art work. 

In maths we have continued to work on place value to 10. If you would like to help at home, you can practice counting forwards, backwards and finding one more and one less. 

Please don't forget to sign your child's reading record every night.
