What an amazing and productive first week we have had in Year 4!

In English, we have started our second class novel, Perijee and Me, and we are thoroughly enjoying getting to know Perijee and his friend Caitlin. We have been making predictions, discussing the characters, and sharing our thoughts about the story so far. We cannot wait to find out what happens next!

In Science, we carried out our first experiment on our States of Matter topic. We investigated how quickly ice cubes melt at different temperatures of water. We carefully observed what happened, recorded our results, and began thinking like scientists by discussing why the ice melted at different rates.

In History, we have started learning about Ancient Civilisations. We explored some of the earliest civilisations and began discovering how people lived long ago. We are excited to continue our journey through history and learn more about these fascinating societies.

The children worked incredibly hard this week, showing enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent learning behaviours in all lessons. We are very proud of the fantastic start they have made to Year 4 and look forward to another exciting week of learning ahead!
