Friday 11th July
Hello and welcome back to our year 4 blog. Can you believe we have one more week of year 4 left together?! This year has flown by, its been amazing to see how the children have grown throughout the year and I am sad that we only have one week left together.
However, we have still been super busy in class this week.
On Tuesday, the children went to Robin Park for the Gala. This is where they sang and listened to performances from Wigan Youth bands. We had learnt two songs, with sign language to perform while we were there too and the children blew us away with their singing voices.
In writing, the children have completed their hot task around For and Against arguments if animals should be in zoos. They worked really hard to complete their final piece of writing!
In PSHE, the children came up with their own invention- similar to Dragon's Den (Tv show). They had to present their inventions/ideas/creations to the class and the audience asked questions about the product and if they would/wouldn't buy the product and their reasons why.
