Good morning and welcome to our blog for this week.
Maths - The children have been using protractors to measure angles. They have also been working out the values of missing angles on a line and around a point.
English - The children have been planning ready to write a persuasive text.
The children had their transition day this week. They all enjoyed their morning with Mr Metcalfe and Mr McMahon and are excited about moving to Year 6 in September. They were all ESPECIALLY excited about the residential trip at the start of the new school year!
Our certificate winner this week is Sam. He won for having a happy, helpful and hardworking week. Sam has impressed a variety of adults around school this week., all with a smile on his face! A big well done to Sam from all of 5W. He also was chosen as the UPPER PHASE PUPIL OF THE WEEK and has the trophy to keep for the next week. Again, HUGE well done to Sam.
That's all from us for this week. Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday for the last week of the school year!
