Good morning and welcome to our blog for this week.
Maths - The children have been using protractors to measure angles. They have also been working out the values of missing angles on a line and around a point.
English - The children have been planning ready to write a persuasive text.
The children had their transition day this week. They all enjoyed their morning with Mr Metcalfe and Mr McMahon and are excited about moving to Year 6 in September. They were all ESPECIALLY excited about the residential trip at the start of the new school year!
Our certificate winner this week is Sam. He won for having a happy, helpful and hardworking week. Sam has impressed a variety of adults around school this week., all with a smile on his face! A big well done to Sam from all of 5W. ![]()

He also was chosen as the UPPER PHASE PUPIL OF THE WEEK and has the trophy to keep for the next week. Again, HUGE well done to Sam. ![]()
