Welcome back to the class blog.
In Maths, this week we have continued to learn more about Time. We have been thinking about how many days are in each month, how many months are in a year and how many days are in a year.
In English, we have been creating story maps based on the story 'The Canal'. We are looking forward to writing our own warning stories.
In Geography we have been learning about why the Romans came to Wigan. The River Douglas provided them with water. Materials like coal and iron were also in really good supply.
We have been designing our own Roman mosaics using squared coloured paper. We will be colouring our final design ideas next week ready to make our mosaics.
