Friday 13th June

Hello and welcome to our blog of the week, I hope you've had a lovely one as we have had a great week in year 4.

In maths, the children have been looking at different types of angles and then comparing and ordering these angles. We have looked at right, obtuse and acute. https://wordwall.net/resource/83342359/maths/describing-angles

In English, we have been super busy. We have looked at fronted adverbials, rhetorical questions and apostrophes, all related to our model text.

In Geography, the children conducted some fieldwork in the Alps, to identify which plants and trees we have growing over there by looking at the shapes of leaves. Have a look at the pictures below of the investigation.

This week is Healthy Eating Week, so in PSHE, we have been doing work around that and the importance of eating healthily and getting a balance diet. https://www.twinkl.co.uk/event/healthy-eating-week-2025

Hope you have a great weekend and the sun keeps shining. See you all on Monday.
