Maths
This week children in 5W began to use a new programme called 'Dreambox Maths'. If your child wants to access it at home they can do so with the link below.

English
The children have been innovating this week. This involves using the structure of the model text (called Kidnapped!) but then changing the who, the when and the where of the story. They have planned and written an independent piece of writing.
Beeston Castle
Year 5 enjoyed a fabulous day out at Beeston castle, the weather was glorious and all the children did the school proud. Check out photos of the day below.
This week's certificate goes to all of 5W for enthusiasm, impeccable behaviour and great manners during our trip to Beeston Castle. A great day was had by all.
