Friday 14th June

In History this week we have been finding out the reasons why the Romans came to Wigan. The River Douglas provided water and basic materials such as iron, stone and coal were in great supply.

On Monday, we took part in an online workshop with HSBC. We talked about how it is important to have a budget when you go shopping. We were given £15 to buy food to make a healthy meal. We looked at the different deals supermarkets sometimes offer like buy one get one free, 25% off or buy one get one half price.

A polite reminder to check Weduc for information regarding our trip to the Museum of Wigan Life.
