This week we have moved on the learn about fractions in Maths. We know that the top number is called the numerator and the bottom number is a denominator. Fractions with a 1 as their numerator are called unit fractions.
In English, we have been continuing to learn how to use inverted commas in our writing. It is important to remember to start a new line when a new speaker talks, add a piece of punctuation and then tell the reader which character has spoken.
Year 3 enjoyed a very informative Road Safety session this week from the Wigan Council road safety team. We have been learning to use Think, Stop, Look and Listen before we cross the road. When riding our bikes, we should always wear a helmet and bright clothes so people can see you. It is important not to be distracted using mobile phones or wearing headphones when walking down the street.
