Hello everyone, welcome to this weeks year 4 blog.
I cannot tell you how busy we have been this week! I bet everyone is ready for a well deserved rest this weekend.
This week in writing, the children have been building up to a short piece of writing around a dragon. All writing was stunning and I was blown away by the level of it.
In maths, the children have continued working on time. We have been converting from analogue to digital and vice versa.
In reading, we have been looking at traditional tales. We have been doing inference work, asking characters questions to deepen understanding, comparing texts. Like I said a busy week.
In Geography, the children have been looking at the River Ganges from source to mouth and the journey it takes using google maps.
To push our times table knowledge even further we have a battle on TT Rockstars between the two year 4 classes. Please (if you can) try as much as possible to go onto the website this weekend. The year 4W teachers are very competitive and we want to win too!
