Hello and welcome back to our class blog.
During English lessons we have been continuing to think about Hansel and Gretel. We have started our innovation lessons when we change an aspect of the model text. We have changed the food items that the house is made of. The children worked in mixed groups talking and sharing ideas for a new door, chimney, roof, window and walls. The children have enjoyed thinking of different food items to use in their design.
Next week we will continue to use these ideas to write a new description of the house.
In maths we have been continuing to learn how to add 2 2digit numbers. This is a difficult task and the children are working hard to grasp this concept.
In Geography we are learning about London in more detail. We have started to look at more information of our capital city London and the features we can see in London.
