Hello and welcome back to our year 4 blog of the week.
This week we have been extremely busy in all areas, in particular practising for our Harvest Assembly, which is next Wednesday at 9am. We are excited to see you all there.
Next Wed, we also have a trip to the Wigan Museum to learn even more about Ancient Egypt.
This week in maths, the children have continued looking Roman Numerals, and then moved on to rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000! Sounds tricky right?! The children worked super hard. https://wordwall.net/resource/35168601/math/rounding-to-the-nearest-10-up-to-100-maze-chase
In writing, the children have been leading up to their own independent write next week. We have looked at how to trap a troll and next week we will be writing instructions on how to mummify a person.
In history, we looked at Mummification! The children loved learning about this and all the gory, gruesome facts! https://www.natgeokids.com/uk/discover/history/egypt/how-to-make-a-mummy/
