In our English lessons we have been enjoying the classic narrative poem The Highwayman. We have practised performing the poem, explored the characters and their behaviour and wrote in role as Bess, the landlord's daughter. The link below is an animated version of the poem for you to enjoy.

We were lucky to receive a visitor from Wigan council this week - a road safety officer. He delivered an excellent road safety lesson to us and gave us lots of things to think about as we start to venture out on our own or with friends and start travelling to high school.
