The weeks are flying by...it'll soon be Christmas! Well, not really. Christmas is way off. Welcome back. This week we'd like to share some work we have been doing in English. Once again we have been looking at inference. We were playing detectives. A crime had been comitted -some money had been stolen from a piggy bank. The fish tank had been broken and the poor fish had been left in the sink. Click on the link here to take part online.
We should really tell you that there is no definite answer. You really need to think about who comitted the crime, how you know (what evidence you have) and what motive they had. Say, if you like that -take a look at this. Can you work this one out?
Another thing we did this week, which was real fun, was a mindmap for all the work we have done in Year 4 this year. Take a look at some of our work.
So, before we say goodbye for this week, we'd like to say goodbye and good luck to Miss Whittle (of Year 4W fame) as she leaves Westfield today. We have really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best for the future -from all in Year 4F.
