Friday 26th September

Welcome back!

In English we have moved onto writing our own version. The children have chosen their own animal (gorilla, dog, cat lion, tiger or giraffe) and thought about what their animal would learn to do at school. The children had lots of fun thinking about all the different things animals do!

In Maths we have been partitioning numbers. The children used equipment to make a number then find different ways we could partition it. For example 64 could be partitioned into 30 and 34, 20 and 44 or 10 and 54 etc.

In Science we looked at animals and their babies and also learnt about the human life cycle. We talked about changes that happen as we get older and all the things we can do now that we couldn't do when we were a baby.

Have a great weekend!
