Welcome to this week's BLOG. After the excitement of residential, it has been good to see the class switch back on to their classroom learning.
This week in science, we have planned and carried out a fair, comparative investigation into how shadows can change. We decided if we change the distance between the light source and the object, we would be able to measure the height of the shadow cast.
Children worked in groups collaboratively to cast different head shadows of the same person, each time moving the torch nearer or further away.
It was concluded that the nearer the light source was to the object, the bigger the shadow. Outstanding science!
