Friday 28th March

Welcome back to the class blog. Another busy week in Year 3!

In Maths, we have started to learn about mass and capacity. We have been looking at measuring in grams, kilograms and grams and learning about scales.

In English, we have moved on to learn about recounts. We identified the different features of the model text including time connectives, paragraphs, conjunctions and writing in chronological order.

We have also been thinking about ways we can help the people who keep us safe. We have talked lots about the importance of making sure we listen carefully to those around us, for example, we need to listen to lifeguards at swimming pools and wait patiently for the lollipop person when crossing the road.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to parents evening this week. It was lovely to celebrate your child's progress.

Have a great weekend!
