Another very busy week in year 3! We have starting a new unit in maths learning about length and height. We have been using rulers to measure and draw in centimetres.
In geography, we have been learning about Mount Vesuvius in Italy. It is an active volcano that stands at 1281 metres tall! We used the atlases to find Italy on the world map.
On Thursday, we welcomed the Freshwater Theatre Company into school. We used drama and role play to act out a volcano erupting, an earthquake and a tsunami.
