Wow as if it's October already! What a super start to the month we've had.
In maths, the children have been working and partitioning in different ways number to 10,000. This involves whole part models, using dienes and counters. Have a go at rolling a dice at home and making a 4 digit number and partitioning it in different ways.
In reading the children have been doing work around their class novel 'Perijee and Me'. This is a lovely book about a girl called Caitlin who meets and Alien, her mission now is to save him.
In History, the children were introduced to the Ancient Egyptians. We looked at daily life and why and how the river Nile was used and why it was so important. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zg87xnb
