Friday 4th October
In English we have continued with our story book Zog. This week we have changed the character Zog to a new animal. Some of us chose a cheetah, parrot, lion, snake and a dog. We have planned a new story based on our new animal who learns new skills at their school.
In Maths we are continuing to learn about numbers to 100. This week we learnt how to partition (split up a number) in different ways. This was tricky so we have spent a few days working with our shoulder partners and using the equipment to support our working out.
In RE some of the children made a Harvest Prayer tree, after a discussion about why Christians have a Harvest Festival and what they might thank God for when they pray to God.
