Charles Darwin proved to the world that evolution must have taken place since, sometimes, creatures that are now extinct are discovered, proving they were on the earth at some time in the past. Whilst most children were on their high school visit, Y6 investigated what a newly discovered dinosaur may have looked like millions of years ago. They made decisions such as number of legs, carnivore or herbivore and if they had adaptations for attack and defence. AND they needed to stand up with stability.
The class then attempted to re-create their ideas in modelling clay. Tricky, for sure! What do you think?
