Hello everyone and welcome to our first year 4 blog of the year!
The children have settled into year 4 beautifully and the year 4 teachers are so proud and looking forward to the year ahead.

In writing, the children have been using the word 'an' or 'a' before a noun or adjective in a sentence. We have then moved onto looking at proof reading work for errors, such as missing capital letters or full stops.
In History, we started our new unit of work around Ancient Civilisations and the children created a timeline of these significant civilisations.
Next week, the children will have their first spelling tests. Their words are words that make the I sound but are spelt with a y.
