It has been a week filled with fun and history in Year 3. We have been writing in past tense in English, looking how fossils are formed in science, learning about the Stone Age in history, and paining cave art from the Stone Age in art.
We have been learning about how people in the Stone Age cooked their food, heated up water and kept warm. We went over to the ALPs, where Carl showed us how to start a fire and we had a go ourselves! Then, we toasted our own marshmallows to make s'mores whilst safely keeping warm around the fire. We even had a sing song!
