Friday 6th December
What an exciting week in Year 3! In History, we have been learning about how people in the Stone Age cooked their food, heated up water and kept warm. We went over to the ALPs where Carl showed us how to start a fire and we had a go ourselves! Then, we toasted our own marshmallows to make s'mores whilst keeping warm around the fire.
In English, we have been completing a shared write al about a morning in school. We have been trying hard to include time connectives and conjunctions in our recount writing.
In Art, we have started our final piece of art work. We have started off with sketching a woolly mammoth, using shapes to help us. We are looking forward to painting them next week.
