Good morning and welcome to our first blog for this half term. It has been a busy week here in Y5W.
Maths - This week the children continued investigating multiplying a number by 10, 100 and 1,000, including decimal numbers.
English - The children have been looking at their new model text. They have highlighted all the key features they found in the text. Also, they have been creating sentences using relative clauses and fronted adverbials.
History- We began learning our new unit, "Power of the Monarchs", all about the key Kings and Queens in British History.
This week's certificate went to Joseph, for a hard working and sensible attitude in all that he does. Joseph is a reliable year 5 role model who is showing readiness for year 6.
