Welcome back to the class blog.
This week we have been learning a new way to divide in maths. We have used the short division method to work out divisions with remainders.
In English, we have been completing a shared write. We wrote a newspaper report all about an earthquake occurring. We included paragraphs, captions and speech in our writing.
In Geography we have been learning about Earthquakes and how Japan have adapted to deal with them. They have earthquake resistant buildings, sensors on the railways and high walls near the coastline to protect them from tsunamis.
As part of Children's Mental Health Week, we used the film Inside Out to talk about different emotions and when we might feel like that. We made our own Islands of Personality to show all the things unique about us.
