Welcome back to year 4's blog and the first one of the last term!
We have had a really busy start to this term. In maths, the children have been looking at time and converting between seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years! This poem is really helpful in remembering how many days are in each month.
In writing and reading the children have been focusing on the Literacy Shed video called Replay. This is about a girl and boy living in a war torn city and their need to survive! Have a look at the video link below, we have loved it in year 4!

In Geography, we have started our new unit around Forests, the children learnt about coniferous and deciduous trees and then did their own art work on how a deciduous tree changes as the year goes on and the seasons change.
As we have been so busy practising our times table this week, spellings will be the same as last weeks and I will test next Friday.
