Y6F came back to school energised and ready to go this week after the half term break. This week has seen the introduction of fractions as a new topic in maths. Always a tough one, the class have started to recognise fractions have equivalents that sometimes need to be simplified.
In English, the children have drafted and improved a story ending based on a short animated film about a little stray dog who was adopted by a kind man. The focus being to use a range of different sentence structures and effective word choices to show variety and detail. Their effort in doing so, clear to see.
