What a busy first week back we've had!
The children have come back full of enthusiasm and ready to learn!
In maths we have been learning about number bonds to 10 and 20. The children have explored them using double sided counters and tens frames.
In English we have started our work on the Highway Rat. This week the children have learnt the model text which is a description of the duck from the story. The children will be working towards a description of the Highway Rat.
We have also started our new Geography topic on the United Kingdom. This week we have looked at maps and labelled the 4 countries of the United Kingdom.
