Welcome back!
It's been another busy week in 2W!
This week the children have been learning the model text for the Highway Rat. They did a really good job of writing it independently! We've also collected adjectives to describe him and will be writing our own description next week.
In Maths we've been learning our related facts. If we know 4+3=7 then we know 40+30=70. We have also used our number bonds to 10 then we know our number bonds to 100. We've also been looking at counting on and using tens frames to help us.
In Science we have started our new topic of Animals and their Habitats. This week we have looked at living, non living and never been alive. The children were given a set of pictures and had to sort them into the correct heading.
We also went for a walk around the school grounds to collect leaves tyhat we can use for our art work this term!
