This week we have been learning about Bonfire safety. We watched firework displays on the interactive whiteboard and listened to the different sounds they made and talked about the colours and patterns we could see. We baked some yummy bonfire treats like chocolate apples and chocolate marshmallows.
We used a variety of colours to make firework pictures, using roller ball painting to create the effect.
This week, we have also added communication groups to our daily routine. The children will participate in developmentally appropriate activities in small groups to enhance their Communication language, understanding and speaking skills. These will be in addition to the intensive interactions during continuous provision.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
