The children have all settled in beautifully on their first full days at nursery we are so proud of them.
Here is some information regarding your child's day in nursery.
We brush our teeth together in a morning around 9am as part of the teeth brushing scheme, we brush our teeth along with Blippi which encourages children to brush their teeth for 2 minutes. Here is a link if you would like to try this song at home.
We offer snack at 10am and 2pm where we offer a drink of milk or water and a choice of snack such as fruit, toast, crackers, crumpets etc.
We have dinner at 11.30am - please can you provide an empty plastic bag for all your child's uneaten, opened food so that we can send it home for you to see how much they have eaten. If you provide a plastic bag this avoids the waste food going all over your child's lunch box.
After dinner the children have a little sleep - please make us aware if you no longer wish your child to have a sleep or you would like us to reduce the time they are sleeping.
Please can you ensure you label all your child's clothing so they do not get mixed up and also ensure you provide spare clothes including socks in your child's bag.
When the children have settled in a little more and begin building bonds with the staff we will send home a letter informing you of your child's key person.
In the morning the children brush their teeth, then they do self registration and then they choose what they would like to sing.
Snack time, we encouraged the children to peel their own fruit 🍌
