This week we have enjoyed looking for bugs 🐜 🐛 🐞 on Tuesday and Thursday morning we visited the ALPS (woodland next to school)  we took magnifying glasses 🔍 and we found spiders 🕷️ worms 🪱 wood louse, millipede and beetles 🪲. The children had so much fun exploring the area.

On Wednesday morning We went for a walk to the pet shop to see what animals we could find and we saw crickets, locusts and a bearded dragon, the children mainly enjoyed looking at the colourful fish 🐠

Visit to the pet shop, after looking at the animals we sat down for some snack and a drink of water.

Looking 🔎 for insects in the sand, the children used tweezers or the hands to find them hidden in the sand.

Making marks with paint, introducing shapes. The children enjoyed drawing circles with brushes and their fingers.

The children are really good at recognising colours and they sorted the colours into the correct bowls.

Small group games, the children took turns to find matching animals and took turns to post the envelope to the same coloured post box
