Our new children have settled in so well on their first days at nursery this week, we are so proud of them and we are loving getting to know your children.

Next week on Monday and Wednesday morning we are going to visit the ALPS (woodland next to school) we are going on a bear hunt. If your child has wellies and wet suits please send them in on this day. Thank You

This week we have enjoyed reading ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ we made a cave and read the story in the cave

We used the mirrors to draw our self portraits we talked about colour and number - what colour are your eyes? How many Ears do you have?

Fix the winter picture- we talked about shapes and encouraged the children the match the  shapes on the picture

Talking about emotions, we showed the children images and they decided how they thought the child on the picture may feel - Happy 😃 Sad 😢 Angry 😡 or Afraid 😱 and posted the image into the corresponding box

Bear rescue 🐻 we rescued the bears from the mud and Save our Friends 🚿 We used water to save our friends from the frozen blocks 🧊

Dough Disco - the children are strengthening their fine motor skills, pinching, squeezing, poking and rolling the play dough, we do this to music.

Fun this week
