WB 15th September

Hello and welcome back to our blog. What a lovely week we have had in Pre School this week. We started the week by thinking about ourselves and what we look like when we come to pre school. We talked about our faces and what is different or the same as our friends. We used the mirrors to have a good look at all of our features. We then had a go at drawing our faces. We have already got these up on display, they look great!

We enjoyed our PE sessions again this week. We love to move our bodies and get our heart rates up! Our grown ups are so impressed with our listening skills in PE, we are always ready to learn.

Also this week we have been thinking about colours and rainbows. At Westfield, we believe in 'H(igh expectations), O(pportunities), P(rogress), E(njoyment)'

In pre-school we use the rainbow as a sign of HOPE in our classroom.

Our rainbow means:

Have kind hands and share with friends

Have lots of chances to learn through the activities on offer

Work hard to grow our brains bigger and bigger

Have lots of fun with the grown ups and our friends

We have enjoyed painting rainbows to put on display in our classroom.

We have enjoyed lots of activities in our continuous provision this week. Have a look at some highlights below.

We hope you have a great weekend.
