This week we have again enjoyed exploring all about autumn, on Tuesday we went for a walk to Robin Park and bought some Halloween things to explore in nursery 🎃 👻
Next week we are going to our very own pumpkin patch in the ALPS (woodland area next to school) and we will be pumpkin picking and going on a Halloween trail. Please send your child to nursery in wellies and warm clothing if it’s cold weather 🎃 👻 🧙♀️

Our walk to the shop, the children walked really well and loved helping to but the shopping
We made cinnamon scented play dough and provided a range of autumnal objects to explore with the play dough.
We did an autumn fix the picture, we talked about the shapes on the picture and the children matched the shapes to the shape on the picture and stuck them on, they where amazing at this activity 🍂

The children enjoyed making pumpkin sun catchers 🎃
The children enjoyed rolling the conkers down the tubes, we talked about big and small tubes/ conkers and fast and slow.
Colour sorting activity, we talked about the different colours and encouraged the children to find the corresponding coloured bowl to put them in
We measured the children on our height chart to see how tall they were, and how tall we were. We are going to do this again next year and see how much we have grown 📏
