Week Beginning 17th September

We have started tooth brushing this week at nursery, the children have adapted really well to the nursery routine and have shown a can do attitude throughout, we are so proud of themsmiley

Park play😊

 

The children did really well walking to and from the park on their first little outing around the environment. They showed good "can do" attitudes when using physical skills and taking turns on the slide and swingsyes

The children have been playing really well alongside their friends this week and have already started to form little friendshipsheart They have enjoyed playing up on the grass area and exploring all the different textures such as- grass, pebbles & woodchips. 

Tuesday 17th Septembersmiley

 

This week we have focused on our fine motor skills by using cheerio's to thread onto spaghetti. We have also used the coloured connecting acrobats to help develop these skills too. The children enjoyed making crowns/hats with these with some adult supportyes

Wednesday 18th Septembersmiley

 

Today we enjoyed playing with the balls/guttering, the children took turns rolling the balls and even started to identify the colours of the balls! They enjoyed shouting "ready steady go" and using counting when rolling the balls. We are so proud with the way they have all settled into nurseryyes 

Thursday 19th Septembersmiley

 

The children really enjoy playing and exploring using the magnifying glasses whilst looking at the bugs/insects in the tray. They enjoy putting the insects on their heads and chasing and tickling their friendslaugh
