Stay and Play

We have enjoyed see lots of faces this week at our stay and play sessions. The children have really enjoyed sharing their activities with the special people.

Stay and play: Wednesday 7th May

Stay and Play: Friday 9th May

The Hungry Caterpillar

Our book of the month is the Hungry Caterpillar. We have been listening to the story and doing lots of fun activities to go with it. We have been eating lots of fruit that the Caterpillar ate, we have been buying our own fruit and we have been watching the caterpillars grow ready to turn in to a big beautiful butterfly.

Tuesday 6th May

On Tuesday we made the most of the sunshine and had a lovely visit to Wigan park. The children loved going on the bus as always and they had plenty of fun playing in the park on the slides, swings and the small climbing frame. We loved feeding the ducks and enjoying a picnic in the park.

Wednesday 7th May

Thursday 8th May

Today we walked down to Asda to choose our own fruit to eat as part of our Hungry Caterpillar theme. The children chose their own piece of fruit, weighed them on the scales and then they scanned them at the till. The children were very well behaved and they had a great time.
