Hello and welcome back to this weeks class blog. What a wonderful celebration of all of our Julia Donaldson work. Let's take a little look at this weeks learning 

We celebrated the release of our beautiful butterflies. We have watched with amazement their development over the last few weeks. Here we are releasing them into the wild 

We have also been exploring our number bonds in different contexts. The children have taken to this like a duck to water. They love it! A skill to keep working on over the Summer Holidays 

We loved our visit to Year 1 this week. We explored the classroom, looked at all of the wonderful things the current Year 1 have produced and met some of the other staff who will be in the room with us next year. A great time was had by all 

On our return to Reception we talked about some of our favourite things about year 1. Take a look at our work 

We have also completed our vey last page in our Sticky Learning Book. This wonderful record of learning that we have loved completing every Friday is an amazing representation of all of our hard work, dedication and amazing learning experiences. It was such a lovely day speaking to you all and sharing your child's reports and achievements this year. It has been an amazing year full of fun, laughter and learning. Sadly, we are coming to the end of the year and we have just one week left together. However, we still have one fun filled week left. We are asking the children to come to school on Wednesday with one small teddy bear so that we can celebrate the end of Reception with a Teddy Bears Picnic in the afternoon
