Week ending 18th July

Welcome to the last blog of the year. We've had a wonderful year, we've learnt so much and have lovely friends and are looking forward to going into Year 1.

This week we have worked with a variety of Julia Donaldson books some new to us some we already know. We've read 'Room on the Broom', 'Tiddler', 'Superworm' and 'Spinderella' and done activities to match the stories.

In maths we have continued to practise our number skills, we've counted, thought about 1 more and 1 less, we've done number sentences and ordered numbers doing dot to dot pictures.

We've been very busy on the craft table, we've made magic wands, painted tropical fish, and cut and glued minibeasts and spiders.

We've had lots of fun around the classroom practising our skills and playing with our friends. We've been very busy all week.

We've had an amazing year and are now excited to be going to Year 1 and being in Mrs Darbyshire-Brown's class.

Have a wonderful summer holidays.
